ABOUT THE GENESIS EXPERIMENT

The Genesis Experiment is a story I wrote over 20 years ago while caring for my mother. I wrote it first as a self-published novel, a comic book, and eventually a fine tuned screenplay that I am hoping to have made...with your support.  Below I have provided a brief synopsis of the film.  Please read it and if you find the story interesting and would like to see it made, consider contributing to my fundraising efforts to get it made within the next 12 months.

The Story

Every film begins with an idea. The goal of The Genesis Experiment is to take that idea from concept to production with the support of people who believe in independent filmmaking.  Hopefully you are here because you are one of those people.  Below is a brief synopsis of The Genesis Experiment, a mystery thriller, conspiracy theory work of fiction.

A marble statue of Christ is found covered in blood.  When the blood is wiped clean, it returns, seeping through the wounds in the wrists, ankles, side, and from the crown of thorns...it's either an elaborate hoax or something miraculous.  A sample of the blood is taken to a lab for testing and secretly used in an illegal experiment called, The Genesis Experiment...human cloning.  When a clone is created from the DNA extracted from the blood sample, the question becomes: Is the blood coming from inside this solid marble statue of Christ, Christ's blood?  And if it is, is the clone Jesus Christ?

Help Bring This Project To Life

Creating an independent film requires the support of people who want to see new stories told.  Your contributions will be the reason this project gets made.  I stand by my belief that this is a project you will be proud to be part of.

About Me

Nigel here.  I am the creator of The Bad Ben Film series, 15 films in the found footage genre.  While my fans have enjoyed them all, it's run its course and this project, The Genesis Experiment, is my swan song.  I hope you were intrigued enough by the synopsis to contribute to getting this film made.
